Hi, I’m Laine Phillips. My journey in technology began in the UK back in 1989. Over the last 35 years, I’ve navigated the highest levels of the IT industry—from serving as Chief Architect at JP Morgan Chase to founding Tariff.ai, and most recently, acting as CTO for a multinational marketing and outreach consultancy.

I’ve spent my career building complex logic for global freight carriers, logistics giants and customer engagement agencies, but in 2023, I saw a massive gap closer to home. Local businesses were losing incredible opportunities simply because they couldn't respond to inquiries fast enough. I founded Pacific Logic to solve that—bringing the same enterprise-grade automation I built for world-class corporations to the small and medium businesses that power our community.

When Artificial Intelligence began to move from science fiction to practical business applications, we didn't just watch from the sidelines. We became early adopters—experimenting, breaking things, and ultimately discovering how AI could bridge the gap for small businesses that can't afford a 24/7 staff but need 24/7 results.

We founded Pacific Logic to take that wealth of experience and strip away the "tech-speak" and complexity. We believe you shouldn't need a Ph.D. to benefit from the most powerful technology on the planet.

Since moving to the US in 2005, I’ve lived in Virginia, Alaska, and Georgia, but I’m proud to call North Bend, Oregon home. When I’m not refining AI algorithms or building growth engines for clients, you’ll find me on the pitch. I’m the head coach for the North Bend High School Boys Soccer Team (Go Bulldogs!), where my three children also attend school.
